Performing Artists
Playing GDCG Guitars

   Uncle Bob

"Uncle Bob" is a performing artist in northern Nevada, southern Utah area. This was an impromptu performance during the Covid pandemic. BTW he is playing a 1620-13, Mahogany back and sides, Cedar top, Zebrawood accents with Fishman electronics, which John D later bought. Awhile after playing this guitar, he commissioned one just him, a Modified J45 style dread.
(Not a very good Cell Phone video.)

John D   Model: 1519-12 OM

John is a performing artist in southern California. John and his wife Heather were at the shop with his first GDCG guitar for some touch up and light repair when he began to play this one, Heather's face was priceless, it was that raised eyebrow "OMG" expression. As a builder, that is what makes all the time and effort worth while, to see an instant connection between customer and instrument!

Kevin P

Kevin is a performing artist in the Price Canyon region of Utah. This was taken with a cell phone at a family event. this is the first performance with his new GJ45 1620-12 1947 J-45 Replica I just finished.

Claudia and I Goofing Around!

Claudia has been a stage performer since her early teens. She started performing with her father in the mid 60's. He had given her a 1964 Fender King acoustic in 1967, which she had me restore recently, and she played that till the fret board grooves were almost a 1/4" deep!
Here, Claudia and I are goofing around when she picked up her new guitar she quickly named "Ebony Rose."
We probably should have tuned the guitars...LOL!
